As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you will deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site repairs, diagnostics and maintenance for light vehicles.
  • Interact with customers, offering advice and updates during driveway visits.
  • Manage stock and report on inventory levels.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Maintain a professional and positive representation of the RAC.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
  • Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
  • Strong customer‑service skills and the ability to make technical decisions independently.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of £40,170, increasing to £52,000 potential OTE.
  • Guaranteed overtime option to raise base to £44,385.
  • 40‑hour week (Monday‑Friday 8:30‑17:00, 1 in 4 Saturdays).
