As a Mobile Mechanic you will work across the RAC’s Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, providing planned, structured repair and servicing directly to members at their driveway or workplace car park.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing as per pre-booked schedule.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced mobile equipment.
  • Perform in-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
  • Give member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks in line with RAC standards.
  • Manage a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tool set, and diagnostics.

What you’ll need

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
