Our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division delivers planned, structured repair and servicing directly to members – from driveways to workplace car parks. You will work through a scheduled list of jobs with the time, tools and support you need to deliver quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Routine servicing
  • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
  • In‑depth repairs that would normally be completed in a workshop
  • Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
  • Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
  • Carry out scheduled jobs and prepare in advance for each appointment

Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Working Hours

40‑hour week; core hours 8:30am‑5:00pm, with availability Monday‑Saturday (8am‑8pm) and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

  • Base salary of £40,170, with on‑target earnings up to £52,000
  • Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
  • Full-time 40‑hour week, with Monday‑Saturday availability and flexibility for extra days
  • Option to work extra rest days at £30 per hour after the first month
