As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
Responsibilities
- Every day is a little different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks.
- You’ll also manage stock, do reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
- Be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer.
- Different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
About RAC and Location
Altrincham, Greater Manchester - Up to £50k per annum Full Time.
Compensation, Schedule and Benefits
- A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000.
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
