About The Role
RAC have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner who'll help pro-actively drive and own the financial performance of the Retention business within the Consumer Roadside portfolio. This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the FD with responsibility for a small team of finance professionals.
You will be responsible for:
- Forecasting and reporting with a focus on supporting the sales operations and pricing teams.
- All aspects of financial management including commercial pricing, budgeting, financial analysis and insight, decision-making support, as well as daily, monthly and weekly reporting.
The successful person will bring experience of working in complex organisations, be passionate about numbers and analytics with exemplary attention to detail, and demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management.
This is a hybrid role, working two days a week in the Bradley Stoke office.

What will you do:
- Inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area you support.
- Identify areas of under/over performance and drive action to realise opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Analyse results versus budget / prior years and key performance indicators.
- Bring reports to life for the wider Consumer teams through insightful commercial commentary.
- Support provision of financial appraisal and decision support with quick analysis.
- Lead the creation of the Retention budget and in-year forecasts.
- Understand and help shape the Group Strategy and Five-Year Plan.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in leading a team and managing senior stakeholders. You will be highly analytical, able to assimilate information, and make quick decisions.
The role requires excellent financial modelling skills, advanced MS Excel knowledge, and proven stakeholder management experience at a senior level.
