About The Role
We\’re excited to offer a 10-month fixed-term opportunity for an Insurance Product Governance Manager to join our Insurance team. This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in the office in Bradley Stoke and three days at home.
You\’ll oversee a broad range of product governance activities across our insurance products, helping us achieve sustainable performance while supporting key business objectives.
What You\’ll Do…
You will manage, maintain, influence and oversee our products from end-to-end, across a diverse range of operating models, including:
Product Oversight & Governance
- Lead end-to-end oversight of insurance products across propositions, distribution, customer journeys, and fair value assessments.
- Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, ensuring regular reviews and robust documentation.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations, including FCA PROD rules and Consumer Duty requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Distribution to ensure products meet both regulatory and customer expectations.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyse management information (MI) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Committee Coordination
- Prepare and manage Product Governance Committee materials, including packs and meeting minutes.
Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify and support delivery of change initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
What You\’ll Need…
You\’ll ideally have a knowledge of the general insurance industry, with an awareness for the regulatory framework and best practice, along with the following;
- Interest in personal lines insurance products and operating models.
- Experience working in a product governance, compliance, complaints or other oversight function.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and inquisitive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Be highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail.
