Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchens, ensuring compliance with Health & Hygiene regulations and Raby Compliance procedures.
- Handle chemicals and equipment safely in line with COSHH and manufacturer instructions, and provide/receive internal training.
- Clean and store operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware hygienically.
- Execute deep cleaning schedules for floors, walls, coolers, ovens and operating equipment using standard methods.
- Support cost control by conserving energy and using water, cleaning materials and appliances efficiently.
- Collect and recycle rubbish from all kitchen areas during and at shift end.
- Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and all Health & Safety regulations.
- Assist with clearing café tables and support exclusive events, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Work independently with minimal instruction, taking initiative while collaborating with larger teams.
- Maintain a supportive atmosphere, pitching in wherever help is needed.
- Remain physically fit to stand all day and unload deliveries.
- Operate with a keen eye for detail, creating a pleasant environment for guests.
- Abide by flexible working hours, including weekends, bank holidays and peak seasonal times.
- Possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
