The Opportunity
We’re embarking on a major property refurbishment programme and are looking for a Multi Skilled Tradesperson to join our dedicated Buildings Team. This is a hands-on role focused on the restoration and maintenance of our residential properties and farmhouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality building and maintenance work across a range of trades
- Plan and manage own workload effectively including ordering materials and completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Identify defects or additional work requirements and proactively recommend solutions or improvements
- Work collaboratively with other trades across the Estate
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Tools
Own hand tools required. Portable power tools provided.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence
- Minimum 5 years’ construction experience preferred
- NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 or above (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with traditional properties is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of maintenance and building works across the estate. Tasks will vary depending on individual skill set but may include stonework, joinery, plumbing and electrical work, tiling, laying stone flags, damp proofing, and roofing.
You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, supporting other trades across the estate as required. Applicants must be capable of managing their own workload, completing tasks to a high standard, and working efficiently to agreed timescales.
A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential, along with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Good communication skills are required to liaise effectively with colleagues, contractors, and management.
You must provide your own hand tools. Portable power tools will be provided, including access to a wide range of professional equipment and workshop facilities. A full UK driving licence is essential.
