We are RABI, the farmers charity. RABI supports farming people across England and Wales with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, 365 days a year. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, our tailored services respond to the unique challenges of farming life. As Digital & Technology Lead, you will help a mission-driven charity deliver high-quality practical, financial and emotional support to its community by ensuring colleagues can make effective, secure and confident use of modern technology. This is an opportunity to use your digital and technology expertise to create real social impact.
You will act as an internal technology enabler, supporting people across the organisation with Microsoft 365 and other core systems, and helping them adopt good digital habits that improve collaboration, productivity and service delivery. Working closely with a CRM Manager and an external Microsoft support partner, you will coordinate day-to-day support, manage escalations and use insights from recurring issues and user needs to recommend and drive improvements.
The role is strongly future-focused. You will help identify and shape new capabilities including automation, AI-enabled tools and enhanced collaboration features so that the organisation's technology landscape continues to support its strategy and evolving services. You will also contribute to systems administration, user and licence management, cyber security practices and the maintenance of accurate technology records.
This position will suit an individual with hands-on systems administration and IT support experience who is comfortable working alongside a managed service provider. You will bring strong Microsoft 365 skills, the ability to troubleshoot issues and manage competing priorities, and a collaborative, user-focused mindset. Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of new digital tools or AI-enabled capabilities would be advantageous, as would an interest in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
