JUNIOR VFX ARTIST

Reports To: Supervisedby VFX Artist & reports to Post Producer

Location: Manchester city centre (office based Mon-Fri)

Rabble Post is looking for a Junior/entry level VFX Motion Designer with a sizzling showreel, that is looking for their first job in a post-production facility.

You’ll need to be proficient with AfterEffects & Premier Pro.

As part of a team you’ll work on exciting content and commercials for brands worldwide, with a high-percentage of work being sport related.

Company Background:

Rabble Post is a post facility owned by The Mob Film Company (North) Ltd as part of the 54 group. Rabble provides all post production support and solutions for Mob’s output and externally offers short form post production and audio facilities including ADR & mixing for TV, cinema & radio . Clients are mostly advertising agencies, content production companies and additional ADR audio for drama/features.

54 is a global sports and entertainment agency.

Job Overview: Work as integral part of the visual effects team to execute each online brief to the highest of standards (with a specific focus on the motion graphics creation), whilst supporting the wider production team in the delivery of each project.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conceptualise, design and create innovative motion graphics / visual effects delivering to the required specifications for each brief.

· Complete each online brief to the highest standard, adhering to brand guidelines, storyboards and client

treatments ensuring Rabble deliver on eachclient’s brief.

· Work with Producer and Senior VFX Artist to understand, track and manage the workflow for each online

project.

· Produce detailed VFX shot list / technical documentation for each project and maintain throughout the job.

Share updates with the production team – identifying key areas that may affect delivery.

· Ensure all work is delivered on schedule (any required changes to the schedule must be raised with the

Producer).

· Support the Senior VFX Artist in their role as spokesperson for the VFX/Motion GFX and 3D elements of each project.

· Research, identify and recommend new visual effects trends and technology to ensure that Rabble is always

working to or above industry standards and above – share materials and findings with the team.

Technology and Software:

  • Extensive knowledge of VFX tools including but not limited to After Effects & Premier Pro
  • Continue to develop skillset in Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and Cinema 4D.
  • Identify software would like to learn i.e. Nuke and recommend the best way of moving forward with this learning.

· Have an eye for detail and the ability to problem solve.

  • Ability to work as part of a team of creatives and quickly pick up new concepts.

· Engage in ‘self-clear’ kitchen and desk policy.

· Ensure that business is opened and closed in line with company practices.

· Expected to embrace unpredictable working hours/weekends when required, due to production deadlines

and international time zones. Time in lieu given.

· Assist with taking calls/enquiries in absence of production staff.

· Contribute to creative culture and environment
