What You Will Be Doing
- Surveying buildings at risk from flooding to recommend Property Flood Resilience measures.
- Assessing flood risk from any source using existing data.
- Walking our rivers and coast to inspect flood risk assets.
- Conducting appropriate surveys and tests (e.g., photographic surveys, topographic surveys).
- Writing reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations using plain English.
What You Will Need
- The ability and willingness to travel and work anywhere in the UK.
- Good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A desire to help and be empathetic to individuals and communities affected by flooding.
- Competence in the use of relevant IT software.
