Role Overview

The Sous Chef supports the day-to-day running of the RAAZ kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, smooth service, and strong kitchen discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily kitchen operations and lead service when required
  • Ensure all dishes meet RAAZ standards for flavour, presentation, and consistency
  • Oversee prep, mise en place, and station readiness
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance at all times
  • Assist with stock control, waste reduction, and cost awareness
  • Communicate operational issues clearly with the GM

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
  • Calm, reliable leader who performs well under pressure
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Willingness to learn and execute Indian cuisine precisely
