We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our fantastic catering team at RAF Museum Cosford on a flexible, casual basis. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be part of a hard-working, friendly team with a shared goal of supporting the smooth running of the kitchen and delivering a high-quality food offer for our visitors. Located in Shropshire, the RAF Museum Cosford offers a unique and welcoming setting where guests can relax and enjoy quality food and drink while exploring the museum's impressive collection of historic aircraft and exhibitions.
The successful Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Assisting chefs with food preparation
- Making sandwiches
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing dishes
- Cleaning kitchen areas and equipment
- Helping with stock control
- Ensuring all food safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Shifts: This is a zero-hours position, mainly working two days per week, primarily at weekends, with additional shifts available during peak periods. Typical shift hours are 9:00am-4:30pm.
Who you are: Our ideal Kitchen Assistant will:
- Be aged 17 or over
- Have previous kitchen or food preparation experience
