We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cafe & Bar Supervisor to join our team at M Shed in Bristol. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their supervisory skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.
The role will involve supervising the day to day operation of both the bar and cafe, with a seasonal focus:
- Bar operations will be the main priority during spring and summer
- Cafe operations will take the lead during autumn and winter
The role will include weekend work and some evening shifts.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting a front of house team
- Ensuring high standards of service, food safety, and compliance
- Overseeing bar operations during peak trading periods
- Supporting the cafe operation during quieter seasons
- Acting as a clear point of contact for the team during shifts
This is full time 40 hours, 5 days of 7 role, which includes weekend work and some evening shifts.
About You:
- Previous bar experience is essential
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Confident and clear communicator
- Accountable and reliable with strong organisational skills
- Able to lead by example and support team performance
