Our clients are an Essex based Accountancy firm with offices in Rayleigh and Colchester and is a highly regarded and successful accountancy, tax, and advisory firm of chartered accountants. Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking to recruit either a Tax Senior/Semi Senior in the Rayleigh office. Working closely with the Tax Director, the ideal candidate will have at least three years practice experience of working within a busy tax department in a similar role.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of a mixed portfolio of clients to include HNW, Directors, Self Employed, Subcontractors and Partnerships
- Preparation of Tax Returns and self employed/Partnership accounts
- Communicating directly with clients
- Supporting the Tax Director with ad hoc advisory work
- Capital Gains Tax work and 60 day advance filing experience for property
- Dealing with the HMRC
- Preparation of P11Dβs
Requirements:
- P/Q ACCA, AAT Qualified or 3 years within practice
- Possess practical/technical knowledge of personal tax
- Good IT skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Experience in client facing roles
- Confidence when communicating with stakeholders
- Is proactive
