Job Summary:
- Planning and performing audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities.
- Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants.
- Supporting and reporting to the manager.
- Preparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement if desired.
- Preparation of corporation tax calculations if desired.
- Ad-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include working for other MC offices, FDD, cashflow forecasts etc.
Desired skills:
- At least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role.
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants.
- Experience in using CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation, and Alphatax. Preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
- Attention to detail, and technical ability.
- A desire to learn and develop skills.
