We are currently recruiting for an M&E Supervisor to oversee a team of five engineers, covering a portfolio of 12–13 commercial office buildings across the City of London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced building services professional looking to take on a supervisory position, with further training and development opportunities and the potential to progress into management.
The Role
As the M&E Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations across a portfolio of commercial offices, supporting a team of five engineers and ensuring all building services are maintained to a high standard. You will play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities, supporting the engineering team and ensuring a reliable service is delivered across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising and supporting a team of five M&E engineers
Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Coordinating maintenance activities across 12–13 commercial office buildings
Ensuring building services are maintained safely and efficiently
Supporting engineers with technical issues and day-to-day operational challenges
Monitoring maintenance standards and ensuring work is completed in line with site procedures
Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure a high standard of service
Helping to identify opportunities to improve maintenance performance and operational efficiency
About You
Previous experience within commercial Facilities Management or building services
Experience supervising or leading a team of engineers
Strong electrical or mechanical building services knowledge
Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
