A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their on-site team at a commercial static site in Southampton. What you'll do:

  • Oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services systems.
  • Support the engineering team in maintaining systems including lighting, power distribution, HVAC plant, pumps, motors, and general building services equipment.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of engineers, ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Assist with minor administrative duties including maintenance scheduling, compliance records, and service reporting.
  • Provide occasional oversight of soft services to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and site stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery and operational performance.

  • City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Previous facilities management or building services experience within a commercial environment.
  • Experience supervising engineers or coordinating maintenance activities.
