A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Shift Technician to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial static site in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional environment offering excellent training, career progression, and long-term stability.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services systems.
  • Perform fault finding and first-line repairs on systems including HVAC plant, lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, pumps, motors, and general plant equipment.
  • Ensure all building services systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
  • Support small works, plant upgrades, and general engineering maintenance activities across the site.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed to a high standard.

What you'll bring:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance operations.
