Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: City of London (Local to Fenchurch Street Station)
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established FM provider, working within a state-of-the-art commercial office building in the heart of the City of London, just a short walk from Fenchurch Street Station.
Role Overview:
As a key member of the on-site engineering team, you ll be responsible for delivering a mix of PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance, ensuring building systems run efficiently and safely. This is a great role for an engineer looking for long-term career development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks on mechanical systems
- Work on HVAC systems, pumps, valves, pipework, AHUs, and FCUs
- Fault finding and first-time fix on building services equipment
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are met at all times
- Complete all relevant paperwork and service reports via CAFM system
- Support with site improvements and small project works
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and general building services
- Good communication and team-working skills
- Positive and proactive approach to engineering and maintenance
