A prestigious and well-established facilities maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join their on-site team at a high-profile commercial facility in West London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a technically engaging environment with outstanding training and clear career progression.
What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance across a wide range of building services plant.
- Fault finding on electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated equipment.
- Ensure all plant and systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and support the wider engineering team with technical issues.
- Update maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Assist with system upgrades, small project works, and continuous improvement tasks.
What you'll bring:
- Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- Willingness to undertake further training on site-specific systems.
