Position: M&E Supervisor

Contract: Permanent/Full Time

Salary: GBP50,000 – GBP55,000 per annum

Location: City of London (Near Bank Station)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Role Overview:

As an M&E Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical and electrical maintenance operations within a high-end commercial building. You will lead and support a team of onsite engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards while maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and support a team of onsite M&E maintenance engineers.
2. Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
3. Act as a hands-on leader, assisting with technical issues and problem-solving.
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
5. Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for technical support.
6. Manage contractor activities, ensuring all external work meets required standards.
7. Monitor and report on building systems, identifying areas for improvement.
8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

1. Strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
2. Previous experience supervising maintenance teams within a commercial building.
3. Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Strong communication and organisational abilities.
6. Understanding of compliance, health & safety regulations, and building management systems.
