A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a modern commercial facility in Cambridge. What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical building services plant.
- Work on systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, HVAC controls, pumps, and general plant room equipment.
- Support with fault finding, repairs, and maintenance to ensure compliance and minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all works carried out and ensure health & safety standards are adhered to.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver a high level of service to building occupants and management.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within a commercial building or critical environment.
- Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (essential).
