A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial static site in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable Monday-Friday role offering excellent training, career progression, and overtime opportunities within a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical building services systems.
- Perform fault finding and repairs on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, distribution boards, and associated electrical plant.
- Undertake routine inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure all electrical systems remain compliant and operate efficiently.
- Support minor installation works, electrical upgrades, and small project tasks as required.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance requirements.
What you'll bring:
- City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical discipline.
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
