An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Estimator to join a leading construction company, supporting major building projects within the healthcare sector. The Role Overview

As the Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions for major building projects. Working closely with the wider pre-construction and commercial teams, you will help develop detailed cost plans, support framework projects, and contribute to successful bid delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Support the full tendering process through to financial handover
  • Develop cost plans and pricing exercises for major construction projects
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
  • Assist with tender queries and post-tender negotiations
  • Work closely with senior estimating and bidding teams on framework and target cost projects
  • Ensure estimates are commercially robust and aligned with project requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Previous experience estimating on large building/construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of estimating software (Causeway experience desirable)
  • Experience producing and managing tender documentation
  • Good commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced pre-construction environment
