Role Overview:
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial gas heating and hot water systems, mainly within plant rooms. You will ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, delivering a high standard of service while occasionally covering sites across the Home Counties when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults to ensure systems remain fully operational.
- Provide occasional cover across the Home Counties for holiday or sickness absences.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately using provided IT systems.
- Work closely with clients to maintain strong professional relationships.
Requirements:
- ACS Commercial Gas Qualified with at least 2 years remaining on the current certificate.
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification.
- Proven plumbing and mechanical ability.
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
