We are currently recruiting for an M&E Shift Technician to join a well-established FM service provider, working within a state-of-the-art corporate office building in Canary Wharf.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress into a more senior position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for fast-track career progression, with the role expected to develop into an Assistant Shift Lead position.
The Role
- Working as part of a professional engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the building's M&E systems are maintained to a high standard, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the building
- Maintaining a range of electrical and mechanical building services
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring faults are resolved efficiently
- Supporting the wider engineering team with day-to-day site operations
- Ensuring maintenance is completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Assisting with the smooth running of the shift and building services
- Working towards progression into an Assistant Shift Lead position

- Previous experience working within commercial FM or building services

- Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical building services
