Position: Days Only Shift Engineer Location: Canary Wharf Salary: £55,000 per annum Hours: Continental Days-Only Shift Pattern Contract: Permanent, Full-Time A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Days Only Shift Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a corporate facility in Canary Wharf, working for a blue-chip client. What you'll do: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services. Fault-find and repair systems including lighting, power distribution, HVAC plant, pumps, motors, and associated building services equipment. Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring faults are diagnosed and resolved efficiently. Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Support minor works, repairs, and general engineering tasks as required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements. What you'll bring: City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline. Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical or mechanical systems. Good understanding of commercial building services and maintenance procedures. A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance.
