An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the on-site team at a commercial facility in Birmingham City Centre. This role offers a great work-life balance alongside strong training and progression opportunities within a supportive engineering environment.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical building services plant.
  • Perform fault finding and repairs on systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control panels, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance and statutory regulations.
  • Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations.
  • Assist with small works, upgrades, and general maintenance tasks across the site.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
  • City & Guilds / NVQ in an Electrical discipline.
  • Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and reliable approach with good communication skills.
