R9 Recruitment are looking for an Electrician, to carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance and installation tasks within domestic properties, ensuring all work is safe, compliant and delivered to high standards.
Salary: £42,000
Locations available: Kent, East London, South East London
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on electrical systems.
- Repairing or replacing sockets, fittings, consumer units and domestic electrical components.
- Installing smoke alarms, fans, shower units and associated circuits.
- Completing risk assessments and maintaining strong Health & Safety practices.
- Working safely at heights or in confined spaces.
- Supporting apprentices and collaborating with colleagues, tenants and clients.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
Essential:
- 18th Edition qualification
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Experience in repairs & maintenance
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Manual Handling training
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Social housing experience
- Clean DBS
- Strong time management and attention to detail
