We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of projects from pre-construction to final account
- Develop and manage cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Administer contracts in line with JCT, NEC, and other industry standards
- Manage procurement activities including tendering, analysis, and subcontract awards
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and final accounts
- Prepare and submit valuations and applications for payment
- Manage variations, claims, and change control processes
- Produce and review monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
- Provide commercial advice to project teams and senior stakeholders
- Lead commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting
- Mentor and support the development of junior commercial staff
- Contribute to tendering, bid submissions, and pre-construction activities
What We’re Looking For
- 8-10+ years experience in Quantity Surveying within the UK construction industry
- Minimum 3 years operating at Senior QS level (or equivalent)
- Proven track record delivering medium to large construction projects
