R9 are currently recruiting Multi‑Skilled Operatives to join our team working across Salford on an ongoing contract. The primary trade required is Joinery, alongside a strong ability to undertake a variety of additional tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery works as the main trade
- Complete multi-trade tasks including:
- Basic plumbing or plastering
- Kitchen refits and installations
- Painting and decorating
- Mould removal and treatment
- General maintenance and repairs
- Work independently to complete jobs to a high standard
- Use a PDA system to receive and complete job tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in a multi‑skilled role (Joinery essential)
- Ability to confidently complete jobs from start to finish
- Basic plumbing or plastering skills desirable
- Good all‑round maintenance skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
- CSCS card preferred
- Basic IT skills (for PDA/job management systems)
Qualifications
- Qualification or Apprenticeship in your primary trade (Joinery), OR NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance Multi‑Trade Repair & Refurbishment, OR Valid CSCS Card
- Basic DBS check
