Are you an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer looking to join one of the UK's leading boiler manufacturers? We are seeking skilled engineers to carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on domestic heating products within a designated area. The Role
- Be based from your own home and work independently within your allocated area.
- Receive and manage work through a company-issued laptop.
- Contact customers each morning to provide an ETA.
- Attend your first appointment by 9:00am.
- Complete all work allocated to you on the same day.
- Diagnose, service, and repair domestic boilers and heating systems.
- Operate as part of a regional engineering team supported by an experienced divisional management structure.
- Complete approximately 7-8 jobs per day, with workload planned based on geographical coverage and travel efficiency.
- Benefit from overnight parts replenishment delivered directly to your vehicle or designated drop box.
Training & Development
- A comprehensive training programme is provided to ensure your success:
- 8 weeks total training
- 5 weeks residential training (hotel accommodation fully paid for)
- 3 weeks local field-based training
- Ongoing manufacturer product training and technical support

What We're Looking For
- Previous Gas Service & Breakdown experience.
- Current ACS qualifications.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A Gas Engineering Apprenticeship or recognised industry training programme (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Parking available at home.
- Space for a company delivery/drop box.

Performance Expectations
- Successful engineers will be expected to:
- Achieve 93%+ first-time fix rates
- Maintain below 4.5% recall levels
- Attend the first call by 9:00am
- Complete all allocated work on the day it is issued
- Always wear full company uniform
- Keep company vehicle clean, presentable, and well maintained
- Follow all company processes, procedures, and health & safety policies
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every visit
Holiday Guidelines
- To ensure customer demand can be met throughout the year, annual leave should be planned:
- Up to 5 days holiday between February and May
- Up to 15 days holiday between June and September
- No more than 5 days holiday between October and December
