We are working with a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation that is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, commercialisation, and customisation of innovative products used across a global customer base.

Working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams, you will support the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, certification, manufacturing, and customer implementation. You will be responsible for delivering customer-specific engineering solutions, producing technical documentation, supporting product validation activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both product performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Ensuring Your Success

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience, alongside at least two years' experience within a product development, manufacturing, or engineering environment. You will possess a strong understanding of engineering design principles, including Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT), and will be confident producing technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Inventor is highly desirable, alongside knowledge of testing, validation, and compliance processes. You will be an organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Exposure to ERP systems, LEAN manufacturing methodologies, engineering automation, and product certification processes would be advantageous.

In Return

In return, you will be joining an established and innovative organisation that is committed to investing in both its people and technology. This position offers the opportunity to work on technically diverse and commercially impactful projects while gaining exposure to global engineering operations and international product development initiatives.
