Are you an experienced Technical Analyst with a strong background in infrastructure support, system administration and technical troubleshooting? We’re working with a major organisation in the logistics sector who are looking for a hands-on Technical Analyst to join their in-house IT team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support across core infrastructure systems
- Supporting and maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux systems (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS)
- Administering system software, databases, and storage platforms (SAN/NAS)
- Managing access controls and ensuring compliance with security protocols
- Troubleshooting across networks, storage, and applications
- Supporting change and upgrade initiatives across infrastructure and software
- Working closely with the Security & Architecture function on design and implementation of systems
What you’ll bring:
- Solid experience in a technical support or infrastructure analyst role (5+ years)
- Strong Windows and Linux OS experience — including scripting (PowerShell / Shell)
- Understanding of database administration and storage planning
- ITIL Foundation qualification or equivalent service delivery understanding
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to system issues
- Great communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
