As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a busy campus environment, ensuring facilities remain safe, operational, and compliant. Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Leader and Estates Helpdesk, you will carry out fault finding, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment.
You will liaise with internal stakeholders and contractors, maintain accurate maintenance records, monitor stock levels, and support small installation and improvement projects. The role also involves ensuring work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales, and contributing to the smooth operation of the wider Estates function.
To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or similar environment, supported by relevant electrical qualifications and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. You will possess excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, be confident working independently, and have experience managing competing priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and contractors are essential.
