At R3, we are building the on-ramp for the next trillion dollars of assets to move on chain, bridging the worlds of traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). We are launching institutional-grade RWA yield vaults, fully composable and integrated into Solana DeFi.
We are looking for a DeFi-native product leader who is passionate about creating on chain capital markets. This person should be fluent in both the culture and mechanics of on chain finance. You will lead product design, delivery and positioning for the Corda protocol yield vaults. A good candidate will know the existing RWA protocols inside and out, but the successful candidate will understand what needs to come next and has the burning desire to build and ship it.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the product roadmap for Corda yield vaults, through launch and iteration.
- Organise around the needs of your users and stakeholders, such as on chain allocators, curators, DeFi partners.
- Own product decisions and outcomes, balancing strategic vision with day-to-day delivery.
- Collaborate with R3 Product and Engineering to make your roadmap a reality. Ensure that the full R3 Labs organisation understands and is bought in on your vision and execution plan.
- Translate complex asset structures and compliance requirements into simple, composable on chain primitives.
- Represent R3 externally in the DeFi community, shaping narratives and collecting feedback.
- Monitor regulatory developments and their impact on product design and go-to-market.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DeFi, ideally with a track record of designing and launching or deeply integrating a DeFi product.
- Deep understanding of DeFi strategies, mechanics, and tokenomics.
- Strong working knowledge of Solana and familiarity with its DeFi ecosystem (or demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly).
- Familiarity with financial products highly preferred: debt, equity, private credit, collateral management.
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape for tokenized assets.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making clear decisions, and owning outcomes.
- Active presence in the crypto community (preferably Crypto Twitter native, not a tourist).
- Excellent communicator who can engage technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders alike.
- Honest, flexible, and collaborative mindset. You think like a builder, not a bureaucrat.
