R3, the UK’s leading membership body for the insolvency and restructuring profession, is searching for a standout leader to oversee its technical, training and external affairs functions. This is a pivotal role within the organisation as well as an opportunity to make a positive impact externally by helping to shape industry standards and provide technical support and insight to those working across the UK insolvency profession.

The Opportunity

You will provide strategic direction across technical output, professional development and policy engagement. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure that R3 continues to deliver high-quality guidance, training and advocacy on behalf of its members.

Technical Leadership

You’ll be an influential voice on legislation, regulation and best practice — guiding members through complex developments, producing high-quality technical resources, and representing R3 at the highest levels.

Training & Professional Development

You’ll oversee R3’s Training Academy, shaping the learning strategy for thousands of professionals. From digital learning innovation to course development, you’ll ensure the profession continues to grow, evolve and excel.

External Affairs & Influence

You’ll work directly with policymakers, regulators, government bodies and industry stakeholders to influence the future of the insolvency and restructuring framework. Your insight will help shape national policy and protect the integrity of the profession.

  • A talented team covering technical, training and public affairs
  • Strategic planning, budgeting and delivery across your portfolio
  • High-level stakeholder engagement with government, regulators and key industry members
