Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Chemist to join their Product Development team. You will be part of a team developing and formulating construction products, chemicals, and compounds.
The role is based in the UK, but some overseas travel will be required.
The Project Chemist will:
• Project Lead : Lead and manage business critical projects, from exploration to launch, putting customer needs at the heart of everything.
• Product Development : Hands-on approach to formulating and testing of innovative products and prototypes as well as data analysis. Furthermore, you will turn data into information and communicate findings across the company.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work alongside culturally diverse and international teams, contributing to continuous improvement and high-performance standards.
The Project Chemist Should:
• Educational Background: A degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering)
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience working as a scientist or project leader, with a proven track record of managing and leading projects.
• Skills: Strong project leadership and communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. Ability to turn data into information and what that data means.
• Curiosity : An inquisitive mind, persistence, tenacity, and an ability to think outside the box.
