The Purpose of the Programme Manager:
The Programme & Project Manager position will be responsible for organising and managing the activities for product development and compliance projects for the group through the change management process. This will include developing current products, bringing new product developments to market, and helping deliver compliance targets. The group's businesses have several product brands incorporating a broad materials base and passive fire protection products. Projects will involve working alongside colleagues across three sites (2 in the UK & 1 in Europe); Occasional travel between the three sites will be required in this role.
The Duties Duties and Responsibilities of the Programme Manager:
- Run monthly stage gate meetings to the Senior Leadership Team, recording decisions and providing minutes post-meeting
- Become the super user of the change management software
- Lead projects from conception through to post-launch
- Support the business in completing assessments and supporting business case development on project ideas.
- Coordinating between multiple departments across the business, managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of projects
- Help develop the product roadmap
- Resolving issues with management and stakeholders
- Following the company’s change management processes and procedures
- Developing budget and action/ milestone plans
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status
