R13 Recruitment are partnering a highly regarded construction group in search of an Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Working alongside an experienced Senior Estimator, this role will play a key part in supporting land appraisals, tender submissions and commercial decision-making across the company's new developments in the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator with a strong understanding of construction costs, risk and value engineering, who enjoys working collaboratively across pre-contract, commercial and development teams. Working hours are Monday to Friday, full time across the region with site visits required. An offered salary of between Β£55,000 - Β£65,000 DOE with a company car or car allowance offered alongside.

- Working closely with development and commercial teams to identify risks and value engineering solutions.
- Producing accurate prime cost calculations and tracking cost movement throughout the pre-contract stage.
- Supporting the tendering and subcontractor evaluation process.
- Maintaining up-to-date cost data in line with market conditions and supply chain pricing.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts aligned to development programmes.
- Participating in bid and appraisal review meetings, clearly outlining assumptions, risks and commercial considerations.
- Advising on abnormal costs and alternative appraisal scenarios to support decision-making.
- Undertaking site visits to understand construction methods and site-specific challenges.
- Proven experience in an Estimator role within construction or housebuilding.
- Strong understanding of land appraisals, tendering and cost planning.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify and manage risk.
- Confident working with estimating and appraisal software.
- Comfortable presenting information and contributing to bid reviews.
- Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively across teams.
- Well-organised, detail-focused and deadline-driven.
- Willing to visit sites as required.
