R13 are supporting a fantastic company within the power sector, who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for developing a portfolio of new accounts, forging new business relationships, forming long term client relationships, utilising your strong business development expertise, natural sales ability and fantastic relationship building skills. This will be a nationwide sales role, with up to 3-4 days spent meeting clients across various locations, for office days you will have the opportunity to work from home or in their Norfolk based office. This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is competitive depending on experience, plus uncapped commission, fully expenses for travel, overnight stays and car allowance. The day to day * Achieving the established sales budget. * Building and maintaining customer relationships through daily calls, promoting product awareness to distributors, and actively pursuing new opportunities. * Reaching out to potential customers daily. * Manging pricing with a focus on growth and margin while minimizing business risks. * Offering value-added solutions to clients and demonstrating equipment and products. You will have/be * Strong business development expertise, excelling in customer acquisition and onboarding. * Previous experience in the power supply market is highly desirable but not essential, must come from a technical sales background otherwise. * Proficient in sales procedures, encompassing planning, reporting, and sales management. * Demonstrated ability to foster business growth through relationship building, proactive sales, and solution-driven approaches. * Effective communicator and presenter, adept at understanding and addressing the unique needs of organizations and individuals. * Skilled in selling based on brand, quality, and solution-oriented strategies, with a focus on customer experience and team motivation.
