About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Manchester (Post Code: M32) area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil development and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress.
- Differentiate teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress.
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and curriculum policies.
Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- PGCE or relevant teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching within a UK school.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
- Right to work in the UK.
