About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join welcoming schools in the Manchester (Post Code: M11) area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils and helping them achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers to provide effective classroom support, assist with learning activities and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach whole classes independently to cover planned teacher absences.
- Implement structured learning activities for individuals, small groups, or full classrooms.
- Collaborate with teachers to design lessons, set clear objectives, and prepare materials.
- Monitor, record, and evaluate student development and achievement.
- Give detailed behavioral and academic updates to teachers, parents, and students.
- Enforce high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
