Position Summary: The Accounting and Reporting Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization's financial health and integrity. This role involves preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with budget analysis and reviews, and helping with financial statements.

Location: London - UK - Fenchurch

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger.
  • Regularly review and reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy.
  • Support budgeting process by providing necessary data and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Work Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of related experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
