We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Plumbers / Pipefitters to join our team on a large scale mixed use development project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high profile construction project involving residential apartments, commercial units, retail spaces, and associated infrastructure.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of mechanical and public health services, working as part of an established site team to deliver the project safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of domestic water services, heating systems, and associated pipework.
- Installation of copper, steel, stainless steel, and plastic pipework systems.
- Fitting valves, pumps, plant room equipment, and mechanical services components.
- Installation of drainage and public health systems.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out pressure testing and system checks.
- Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site.
- Ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
- Identifying and reporting any installation issues or design clashes.
- Proven experience as a Plumber, Pipefitter, or Mechanical Installer within the construction industry.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed use developments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and public health services installations.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
- Valid CSCS or JIB/Skills Card.
- Relevant Plumbing or Pipefitting NVQ/City & Guilds qualification.
- Own tools and PPE.
