Rate: £240£280 per day (DOE) Negotiable
Foreman Commercial Groundworks Nottingham
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join an established groundworks subcontractor on a commercial groundworks package in the Nottingham area.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced Groundworks Foreman with a strong subcontractor background. The client is looking to interview immediately and can accommodate candidates who are available immediately or after a short notice period.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the groundworks package, managing gangs and labour while ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily groundworks operations.
- Manage gangs, labour and subcontractors.
- Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
- Ensure works are completed safely and to programme.
- Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
- Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and the wider project team.
- Monitor quality and productivity.
- Assist with resolving day-to-day site issues.
Scope of Works
The project involves a standard commercial groundworks package, including foundations, drainage, concrete works, ducting, slabs and associated external works.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman.
- Strong background working for a groundworks subcontractor.
- Commercial groundworks experience.
- SSSTS Essential.
- CSCS Card Essential.
- First Aid Desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
