Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Support Workers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in a welcoming residential home that supports adults with autism.
About the Role:
You will be working as part of a supportive team, providing person-centered care and assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
- Supporting adults during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;
