RS Cockerill (YORK) Ltd. are a family business based at Dunnington, near York supplying fresh, quality packed potatoes to the discount retailers, foodservice and ready meal manufacturing industries. We take great pride in the quality of our equipment, and the service we provide to our customers.
Job role
- Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be required to work indoors/outside using electric or diesel counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks.
- Loading / Unloading vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Report and record any maintenance issues to the Production Manager.
Job requirements
- Good level of communication skills, with the ability to understand and share verbal instruction in English.
- Forklift truck experience is essential.
- Computer literate advantageous.
- Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Show full co-operation and awareness of company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Have a positive and enthusiastic can do attitude.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Able to work as part of a team, and take instruction from Managers and Supervisors.
- Access to own transport due to location.
Pay and benefits
- Due to continued expansion we have various shift patterns full time starting from 06:00.
- Good, clean restroom and facilities, with vending machines.
- Hourly paid (weekly).
