R&RW Bartlett is a 6th generation family owned company specialising in growing and supplying fresh produce into the retail and wholesale sector across the UK and Europe. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Technical Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our head office in Shenstone.
About the role
- Oversee and maintain accuracy of the QMS, food safety records, technical documentation and Customer Codes of Practice.
- Conduct internal audits, responding to any non-conformance with corrective action.
- Ensure HACCP remains effective and that all checks are completed as required.
- Work with senior management to develop and provide training for compliance to Health & Safety standards.
- Carry out inspection of incoming product in accordance with internal processes and procedures.
- Ensure customer requirements as per agreed specification are maintained.
- Oversee clear and effective communication with customers and the wider business.
- Promote Food Safety Culture within the team demonstrating a commitment to meeting and exceeding BRC standards.
About You
- Has experience within the food industry.
- Experience implementing food safety standards including BRC, HACCP, GMP.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Resilient and ability to keep calm when working under pressure.
- Hold a Full U.K. driving license.
